Bangkok Temples Palaces Markets
If you only have one day in Bangkok then you must visit the Grand Palace and within, Wat Phra Kaeo which is Thailand’s most revered temple. Wat Po is next door and is the oldest temple in Bangkok housing a huge Reclining Buddha. Across the Chao Phraya River is Wat Arun, especially beautiful at dawn.

Bangkok - Kanchanaburi is 3 hours drive. We'll stop at the Bridge over River Kwai and then on to the Tiger Temple and finally back to Bangkok. Next morning go to Wat Pho with its Reclining Buddha, the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaeo, riverside lunch, boat to Wat Arun and then back to the ship.
