Original Floating Market in Ratchaburi
Damnoen Saduak is the location of the original floating market and is in a very fertile area, being irrigated by a 32 kilometre straight-line canal constructed by King Rama IV in 1866. This market opens at daybreak when local farmers come to trade and can be a bit chaotic with so many boats.
