Bangkok Temple Palaces Markets
If you only have one day in Bangkok then you must visit the Grand Palace and within, Wat Phra Kaeo which is Thailand’s most revered temple. Wat Po is next door and is the oldest temple in Bangkok housing a huge Reclining Buddha. Across the Chao Phraya River is Wat Arun, especially beautiful at dawn.

From Laem Chabang, you will go directly to the Grand Palace in Bangkok and then enjoy lunch at a Thai restaurant beside the Chao Phraya River. After a long-tail boat trip through the canals, you will check in to your hotel. The next morning, you will visit the Floating Market at Damnoen Saduak, and then return to the ship.

The drive from Laem Chabang Port to Kanchanaburi takes approximately four hours. Highlights of your first day include feeding the tigers, visiting the Bridge over the River Kwai, and riding and bathing elephants. The next day, you will visit the floating market at Damnoen Saduak before returning to the ship.
