Tour Itinerary

The first stop on your tour will be at the War Cemetery on the outskirts of Kanchanaburi, where your English-speaking guide will join you.

From there it's only a short drive to the famed Bridge over the River Kwai where you'll have time for a quick walk across the bridge to get some good photos.

Now it's time for the Wildlife Sanctuary. Only a short drive into the beautiful countryside of Kanchanaburi province will take you to a man-made habitat where a variety of Asian & African animals roam freely- lions, tigers, giraffes, zebras and bears.

The landscaping is beautifully designed and offers great insights into the habits of the animals.

The best way to see everything is to take one of the park buses. Bowls of food to feed the animals (bananas, vegetables etc.) are provided in the bus.

Before getting on the bus, you'll have a great photo op close-up with one of the tigers. There are no extra charges for these pics. Unlike other tours, they are included in the price!

The driver will take you slowly through each section of the park, giving you excellent photo opportunities as well as plenty of "up close and personal" time with the animals, most notably the giraffes who will "invade" the bus for some food...great fun!

In the centre of the complex is a beautiful restaurant, overlooking the lake. This is a good spot for a cold drink before heading off to see the crocodile show which is followed by the Elephant Show.

You'll have an opportunity to ride the elephant if you wish, and there is a small extra charge for this.

After the shows we'll return to the restaurant for a nice Thai lunch.

After lunch you'll have opportunity to play with the tiger cubs which will certainly be one of the highlights of this memorable day.

When you've seen enough, your driver will be ready to return you to your hotel in Bangkok. Time to reflect on a great day's outing for you and your friends with Bangkok Day Tours.
