Important Information
This is a morning program and does not allow for a return to the Tiger Temple in the afternoon.
As of June 2010, children must be aged 15 and over 120cms to fully participate in the morning program. Children who dont meet this criteria will not be able to go into the canyon with the adult tigers. However, the Tiger Temple still insists on charging full entry fee.
Please also note that as the Tiger Temple is a working Buddhist monastery, there are some dress codes in place. Women must cover their shoulders and knees. Tank tops, short skirts, shorts, shawls and scarves are not permitted. Tights cannot be worn as an outer garment. Also, bright colours like red, orange and pink are not allowed. These colours excite the tigers, and are not permitted on the grounds.
Pictorial of this Exclusive Program:
The morning starts with bottle-feeding the tiger cubs who range in age from new-born to 3 months.

Then the monks are served breakfast - it's quite surreal having breakfast with lots of tigers around you! After the monks have eaten there's a short chanting and then you can have breakfast. There is a great variety of Thai food available.

After breakfast the older cubs are taken to the waterfall play area. You can walk the cubs there on their lead and get in the pool with them while they are playing. We say cubs, but these tigers are a decent size and quite strong. Hence there are many staff to take care of you!

After their morning frolick they are taken out the back where you can shampoo them.

Then it's the turn of the adult tigers. You can lead them down into the Tiger Canyon.

Here they can play in the big pool. This time you are in the cage and the tigers are running free.

When they have played enough they'll relax under the shade of the trees and you'll have a chance to have your photo taken with individual tigers.
Your Hosts for this Exclusive Morning program.
Den from Bangkok Day Tours and Tim from the Tiger Temple.

Tour includes transport, all admission charges and lunch. Feel free to tip the driver as you see fit.
