There's plenty of variety in Thai food and you'll find something you like, no problems.14:00 Hellfire Pass Museum & Konyu CuttingThe benefit of the two-day tour is that you get to visit Hellfire Pass in the daytime. Take your time here. You can begin in the museum itself and then walk down into Konyu Cutting.

If you are late we will be gone! More...04:15 Walk down into Konyu CuttingHellfire Pass is located on an Army Base and the army take care of the parking arrangements. We have to park a long way from the Museum and take a 'songtaew' passenger truck and then walk about 25 minutes down into Konyu Cutting.05:30 Dawn Parade Hellfire PassDawn Parade commences at 5:30 am and lasts about 30 minutes. Cold water is available at various points in the cutting and it's a good idea to drink a lot.06:30 Gunfire BreakfastA traditional ANZAC Gunfire Breakfast of tea or coffee with a nip of Bundy Rum and an ANZAC biscuit will be served in the car park in front of the Hellfire Pass Museum.07:30 Breakfast at ResortWe'll return to the resort around 7:30 am for a hearty breakfast and you'll have time to relax before leaving for the cemetery.09:00 Depart for Don Rak War CemeteryWe'll leave the resort at 09:00 so that you have time to find a seat in one of the tents before the wreath-laying ceremony starts.10:00 Wreath-Laying CeremonyThere will be a number of tents erected around the cenotaph so you will be able to sit in the shade. Remember there's a dress standard requirement for everyone at the Tiger Temple.07:30 Breakfast with the MonksWhile they are preparing the breakfast for the monks you'll be able to feed the tigers cubs.
Once the monks have finished eating you'll be invited to share a short devotion with them. Please take off your shoes and tuck your feet under you when you sit. More...08:00 Training for Tiger CubsAfter breakfast you'll be able to participate in the training of the tiger cubs. Getting them to respond to simple commands is a very rewarding experience.08:30 Play in Waterfall with Young TigersIt's a short walk from the temple to the waterfall where the young tigers enjoy their morning frolic. You can get in with them but be warned, you'll get wet!09:30 Wash & Shampoo Young TigersFrom the waterfall you can give a tiger it's morning wash and shampoo. They love this part of the day and this is what makes the morning program so special.10:00 Tiger Canyon with Adult TigersIn the afternoon program the tigers are chained to the ground as there are many people. In the morning they are not chained. They run free while you are in the safety cage. They love the pool here & this is as close as you'll ever get to adult tigers.11:00 Photo Op with an Adult TigerOnce the tigers have worked off their pent-up energy they relax in the shade. This gives you a chance-in-a-lifetime to have your piccie taken right beside one of these magnificent animals.11:30 Lunch at Thai RestaurantFrom the Tiger Temple we'll drive to a local Thai restaurant for lunch.13:00 Elephant Ride Through JungleThe adventure continues. Elephants are much loved in Thailand and riding one is a unique experience. Once you're on its back it's a long way down! More...14:00 Bathe Elephants in River KwaiAfter the ride through the jungle you'll be able to carry on to the river where you can shampoo and scrub the elephants. The water in the river here is beautifully clear. Be prepared to get wet.15:30 Depart for BangkokAll good things must come to an end, so it's time to head back to the city.18:00 Arrive Back at HotelYou can expect to be back at your hotel in Bangkok around 6:00 pm depending on the traffic. Important InformationHellfire Pass is an hour's drive out of Kanchanaburi so an early start is in order. No stragglers or you'll be left behind.
Wear sensible shoes as the access is through the old railway bed and the rocks are sharp.
