12:00 Lunch in a Thai Restaurant We'll stop for lunch in a local Thai restaurant before heading out to the elephant camp.
13:30 Ride & Bathe Elephants When you ride the elephant be sure to hold on tight because it's a long way down. You'll get the change to be the mahout when he gets off and invites you to slide down on the elephant's neck. Now you can bathe the elephant in the River Kwai.
16:30 Check-in to Local Resort Late afternoon you will arrive at the resort where you'll stay overnight.
19:00 Dinner at Riverside Restaurant Relax and enjoy the variety of Thai cuisine alongside the clear waters of the River Kwai.

06:30 Depart for Tiger Temple It's about an hour's drive up to the Tiger Temple so that means an early start this morning.

08:00 Training for Tiger Cubs After breakfast you'll be able to participate in the training of the tiger cubs. Getting them to respond to simple commands is a very rewarding experience.
08:30 Play in Waterfall with Young Tigers It's a short walk from the temple to the waterfall where the young tigers enjoy their morning frolic. You can get in with them but be warned, you'll get wet!
09:30 Wash & Shampoo Young Tigers From the waterfall you can give a tiger it's morning wash and shampoo. They love this part of the day and this is what makes the morning program so special.
10:00 Tiger Canyon with Adult Tigers In the afternoon program the tigers are chained to the ground as there are many people. In the morning they are not chained. They run free while you are in the safety cage. They love the pool here & this is as close as you'll ever get to adult tigers.
11:00 Photo Op with an Adult Tiger Once the tigers have worked off their pent-up energy they relax in the shade. This gives you a chance-in-a-lifetime to have your piccie taken right beside one of these magnificent animals.
11:30 Lunch at Thai Restaurant From the Tiger Temple we'll drive to a local Thai restaurant for lunch.
12:30 Walk along Death Railway This was rated one of the best rail journeys in the world and you'll especially like the Wang Pho Viaduct which clings to the cliff face with the river far below.
We don't ride the train because it frequently derails!
14:00 Bridge over the River Kwai Back in Kanchanaburi we'll stop at the Bridge over the River Kwai. You can take a walk across the bridge but take care as there are no safety barriers.
16:00 Arrive Back at your Hotel In Kanchanaburi Time to relax. Swim if you want.
18:00 Dinner at Riverside Restaurant Relax and enjoy the variety of Thai cuisine in another of Kanchanaburi's fine restaurants.
Day 3 Departs: 08:00
08:00 Erawan National Park After a good breakfast you'll be ready for some exercise, so we'll take you into the Erawan National Park for a trek through the jungle to the beautiful terraced Erawan waterfalls. You'll have time to relax with a swim here or just a paddle if you prefer.More...
12:00 Picnic Lunch We'll pack a picnic lunch so when you're hungry just say and lunch will be there.
13:00 Erawan Seven Tier Waterfall After lunch you can climb the tiers of the waterfall. There are seven in all but most people do not get to the top. The pools have lots of fish which like to nibble at your legs - Thai massage!
15:30 Return to Bangkok It's quite a journey back to Bangkok so we'll leave around 3:30pm.
18:30 Arrive back at your Hotel You can expect to be back at your hotel in Bangkok around 6:30pm depending on the traffic.
Important Information As the Tiger Temple is a Buddhist monastery, women must dress appropriately. Tank tops, short skirts, shorts, shawls, scarves are not permitted. Tights cannot be worn as an outer garment. Also, bright colours like red, orange & pink are not allowed as these colours excite the tigers.
Please note that this is a morning program and does not allow for a return to the Tiger Temple in the afternoon.
Children must be 15 & 120cms to fully participate.
Whilst bathing elephants you will get wet! Come prepared.
