If you only have one day to spend in Kanchanaburi you can visit the War Cemetery & Bridge over the River Kwai on the way up to the Tiger Temple. Enjoy the early afternoon with the tigers and then head on down to the Elephant Camp where you can take up the unforgettable challenge of an elephant ride.

10:45  Bridge over the River Kwai
We'll stop at the bridge on the way to the Elephant Camp. You'll have time to walk on the bridge and take some photos.   More...

11:15  Lunch in a Thai Restaurant
Lunch will be served in a local Thai restaurant.   More...

12:45  Tiger Temple
We'll get you to the Tiger Temple so you'll have maximum time there. Remember there are many animals here, not only tigers. Pics with adult tigers cost 1000 Baht extra. Tiger cub feeding costs 1500 Baht extra with a maximum of four per group.  More...

14:30  Elephant Ride
It's a thirty minute drive to the Elephant Camp where you can experience the uniqueness of a ride on the back of an elephant. The ride normally takes half an hour.   More...

15:00  Depart for Bangkok
You can relax in air conditioned comfort while the driver returns you to Bangkok.

17:30  Arrive at your hotel
You can expect to be back at your residence by about 5:30pm depending on the traffic.

Important Information
As the Tiger Temple is a working Buddhist monastery, there are some dress codes in place. Women must cover their shoulders and knees. Tank tops, short skirts, shorts, shawls and scarves are not permitted. Tights cannot be worn as an outer garment. Also, bright colours like red, orange and pink are not allowed. These colours excite the tigers, and are not permitted on the grounds.
